In the morning we visited Central Baptist Church, it was nice for Lila to revisit memories of attending during her childhood stays with grandparents.
In the afternoon we met up with Byron and Christy at
Grably, tasty russian chain restaurant, a la carte style. After a great meal we headed to the
C I R C U S. It was a very good show, very different from an American circus. It was a premier night, the Anniversary Express show, celebrating 40 years of the Big Moscow Circus, put together as a train ride with each number being a different stop.
In the evening we enjoyed some local traditional singing of
Chastushka and
Russian Romances, at the Izmaylovo Park. It was a full and wonderful day.
